Teatro Astor Piazzolla – Palacio Tango is located in the basement of the Guemes Gallery, on the pedestrian street Florida 165, in downtown Buenos Aires.
All shows have a group lesson included in the rates at 8 pm, and of half an hour duration.
Dinner starts at 8 pm and the tango show starts at 10 pm.
A MAGICAL AND UNIQUE SPACE: TANGO PALACE
An unforgettable experience in the heart of Buenos Aires. It is a unique space for events, located in the General Güemes Gallery, also known as Pasaje Güemes, a late art noveau style building that has an interior pedestrian walkway that connects Florida and San Martin streets, 116 meters long, and was the first building in Buenos Aires built entirely of reinforced concrete and is also considered the first skyscraper in the city.
It was inaugurated on December 15, 1915 and its name recalls General Martin Miguel de Güemes, hero of the Argentine War of Independence. In the heart of downtown Buenos Aires, in the basement of Florida 165, this magical and unique space offers an incomparable center of art and shows.
It is integrated by the Astor Piazzolla Theater and the Carlos Gardel Theater, and in both spaces the sophistication, elegance and pure Art Noveau style of the Belle Epoque stand out.

With a majestic display, live musicians, excellent corps de ballet, the artistic quality of the singers and the most exquisite dishes, accompany an evening with all the magic, the spirit and the memory of Buenos Aires and Tango. The Astor Piazzolla Theater Sextet, accompanied by an excellent ballet and the best Argentine voices offer every night a unique show: Based on traditional songs of great Argentine composers.
Seduction, sympathy, sensuality, vigor… the couples of dancers show a particular and different facet of tango-dance in each song. The choreographies change with one or another musical style, each piece highlights the musical variations, the picaresque subtlety of some milongas, the melancholic climates, or the strength of the salon steps in Pugliese’s songs. The dancers show in each proposal the different speeds, qualities of movements and intensities induced by the chosen compositions.
The team of singers is of international level and great trajectory, as well as all the artists in the cast, who meet the right conditions to perform a varied repertoire chosen for the show by its Artistic Director, Dolores de Amo.

Is there a differential value for minors?
Yes. Children up to 3 years old do not pay, from 4 to 11 years old pay 50%. From 12 years old, full rate applies.
Is the reservation refundable?
No, reservations are non-refundable.
What areas does the Transfer in-out cover?
The neighborhoods initially covered are: San Nicolás, Microcentro, Tribunales, Balvanera, Recoleta, and Palermo. Also, inquire about transfers from other neighborhoods to evaluate if we can make an exception. Please note that the pick-up time is “starting from” and may be up to half an hour after the indicated time. We kindly ask you to be at the pick-up point starting from the indicated time.
What if I am not staying at a hotel?
For Airbnb, apartments, and other accommodations, the nearest hotel is designated as the meeting point. Remember that the time is “starting from” and for up to half an hour. We request punctuality.
If I have booked a tango class or wine tasting, does the pick-up apply?
If you have booked a tango class or wine tasting, the pick-up does not apply due to logistical reasons. Only the return transfer, as per your choice, applies.
